Users - PGP Messaging System

This is a simple and straight forward package that allows you to assign a PGP key to every user, then automatically send PGP encrypted e-mails to them. It also supports decryption of text, assuming you update your private key into the system.

Usage

Usage is quite simple:

  • This is optional, but if you desire to decrypt data visit the Settings->PGP menu and enter your private PGP key.
  • Visit the Users->Create New User menu, and create a user with their public PGP key.
  • You can now send encrypted e-mails to that user via the Communicate->Send PGP E-Mail menu.
  • You can update a user's profile including their public key via the Users->Manage User menu.
  • If you find e-mails are not going out, visit the Settings->General menu, E-Mail Servers tab, and define at least one SMTP e-mail server.
  • Users can register including entering their public PGP key at https://yourdomain.com/register and can login to the member's area at https://yourdomain.com/login
